Founded in 2002 by Kevin Ramsey, Ramsey Stone Consultants has grown to become the go-to first point of contact for many international blue chip clients and designers seeking sound, unbiased, independent advice, both when they are contemplating the use of dimensional stone in their projects and to assist in its reliable provision.
About Ramsey Stone Consultants
History - 2002 to 2021
After a career starting in the stone factories of Tivoli and Carrara in the mid-1980’s and having been employed by the major US builder, Turner, to oversee their stone procurement requirements worldwide, Kevin recognised that this very niche area of the construction supply chain was under-served.
Kevin witnessed first hand recurring problems where traditional stone procurement processes had been followed and clients were subsequently let down by failures in terms of quality and/or timing of stone provision.
Whilst the stone element of a project may be relatively small, its ability to disrupt and delay completion can be disproportionately high, and Kevin recognised the value in offering clients a level of insurance against such eventualities.

Kevin Ramsey
A Legacy Continues from 2021
Very sadly, Kevin passed away prematurely in April 2021, and since that time his legacy has been continued under the direction of Ramsey Stone Consultant’s current Chairman and CEO, Colin Campbell.
Colin was a long term friend and business associate of Kevin and has been involved in the stone industry for many decades.
Ramsey Stone Consultants continues to operate from its UK headquarters in Hertfordshire, England just 20 miles north of Central London and the team established by Kevin has largely been retained and strengthened by the recruitment of additional senior stone professionals, ensuring that it continues to offer responsive and effective solution-based project services for all your natural stone requirements.

Colin Campbell
Managing Director
For most of the Eighties, Colin was resident in Riyadh, KSA, responsible for commercial/project management, initially at the King Faisal Foundation HQ Complex project and then the King Fahd Securities Forces College project.

In the early Nineties, Colin purchased this business and expanded its activities, with projects such as Chek Lap Kok Airport, Hong Kong, World Trade Centre, Columbo, Sri Lanka and the Saigon Centre, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, together with a host of notable and sometimes award-winning UK based stone projects.
